2 Groups of Intoxicated Men Get Into Fistfight During Road Rage in Valenzuela City

Two groups of intoxicated men riding an SUV and a motorcycle got into a fistfight after an alleged road altercation in Valenzuela City.

On Tuesday morning (December 23, 2025), a heated road encounter turned violent after two groups of intoxicated men got into a fistfight along a busy highway. The incident involved three men riding an SUV and three delivery riders sharing a motorcycle, all of whom were reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time.

The altercation happened shortly after 6 a.m. along MacArthur Highway in Barangay Marulas. Police said the trouble began earlier in Malabon when the SUV and the motorcycle nearly collided.

The riders on the motorcycle were said to have repeatedly honked at the SUV, which added tension as both vehicles continued traveling along the same route. When they reached a stoplight in Barangay Marulas, the two groups finally caught up with each other.

The shouting quickly turned into a physical fight in the middle of the road. The fistfight causes traffic to slow down and drawing the attention of nearby motorists and residents

The men inside the SUV also admitted that they had been drinking prior to the incident.

Both groups were taken to the police station where they eventually settled the matter. Despite this, authorities said they will still face a complaint for alarm and scandal due to the disturbance they caused.

Police also noted that the delivery riders were not wearing helmets at the time of the incident, adding to the list of safety concerns.
