Group of Men Involved in New Year’s Eve Brawl in Maguindanao del Sur Due to Motorcycle Noise

A group of men got into an intense fistfight due to the loud motorcycle noise during New Year’s Eve in Maguindanao del Sur.

The New Year celebration in Datu Piang, Maguindanao del Sur turned chaotic after a group of men figured in a fistfight caused by the loud noise of motorcycles. The supposed joyful celebration turned into a tense situation that alarmed nearby residents and partygoers.

Several motorcycles in Barangay Poblacion were reportedly used to create loud revving sounds, adding to the already noisy celebration. While some enjoyed the festive atmosphere, others became irritated by the continuous noise.

According to the Datu Piang Municipal Police Station, the trouble began when the motorcycle noise continued even after midnight. While loud sounds are common during New Year celebrations, the prolonged revving reportedly upset some individuals.

Attempts were made to stop the noise, but the situation escalated when those involved refused to quiet down. The disagreement quickly turned into a physical fight.

Police officers were alerted and immediately responded to the scene. However, by the time authorities arrived, the individuals involved had already scattered. No arrests were made as the men fled in different directions to avoid confrontation with the police.

One man sustained a minor injury during the incident and was treated shortly after. No further injuries were reported during the brawl.

Authorities encouraged residents to celebrate responsibly and remain mindful of how their actions may affect others, especially during occasions where families and communities come together to welcome a new beginning.
