Mother Reacts After Watching CCTV Showing Group of Teens Beating Her Child
A mother was alarmed after seeing a CCTV footage of several teenagers attacking her child at Banilad High School.
The video brought fear and anger, as it revealed how suddenly and violently the incident happened outside the school area. The footage showed a group of teenagers hanging around before one of them started hitting the student.
After a few moments, others joined in, turning it into a group assault. The mother worried even more was the chance that one of the attackers may have been carrying a sharp object, raising fears that the incident could have ended far worse.
The concerned mom also learned that her child might not have been the only victim, as there were reports that other students had faced similar treatment from the same group.
Several people passed by during the incident, but no one stepped in to stop it. At that moment, there were no barangay tanods or police officers nearby, as security personnel had been reassigned due to a major local event.
The suspects, believed to be between 12 and 15 years old, quickly ran away after the attack. Barangay leaders explained that they cannot take formal action unless a complaint is filed.
Once this happens, both the teenagers and their parents can be called in for proper discussion and investigation. Coordination with school officials is also underway to identify those involved and understand their background.
The barangay plans to increase monitoring during school dismissal hours to avoid similar incidents. Authorities are also seeking police support to ensure students’ safety, while the investigation continues as the family prepares to take further steps.
