. He faces kidnapping with homicide, and kidnapping cases before the Regional Trial Courts in Lipa City, Batangas, and Sta. Cruz and San Pablo in Laguna.
The arrest warrant for his non-bailable kidnapping with homicide case was issued by the Sta. Cruz, Laguna RTC Branch 26. The Philippine National Police (PNP) started implementing the warrant on Wednesday.
Recently, the second arrest warrant was served against him, ordered by Lipa Regional Trial Court Branch 13, which said the case is not bailable.

Acting PNP chief Lt. Gen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez, Jr. said,
“We expect him to use his huge reserve of resources to avoid being caught. But I advise him to use that instead to defend himself in court rather than play hide and seek with us because he will be arrested eventually.”
On the other hand, the Department of Justice (DOJ) said Ang is now considered a fugitive from justice, adding that law enforcers may use reasonable force in serving the arrest warrant issued against him. Ang is the lone accused still at large after his 17 co-accused were earlier arrested by the Philippine National Police–Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla has announced a PHP 10 million reward for information leading to the arrest of Ang.
