Former Sen. Bong Revilla Surrenders at Camp Crame
BONG REVILLA
– The former Senator asked the public to pray for him and strengthen his family amid his surrender to the authorities over the alleged anomalous flood control project.
Aside from several members of the House of Representatives and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), some senators and former senators were also tagged in the flood control mess. The supposed multi-billion flood control corruption sparked the “Trillion Peso March” that called for accountability.

Former Sen. Ramon “Bong” Revilla is one of the former senators tagged in the flood control mess. He maintained his innocence from the flood control corruption accusations against him.
Recently,
plunder complaints were filed against former Sen. Bong Revilla and Sen. Jinggoy Estrada
. Recently, arrest warrants were released against Revilla and several others over an alleged ghost flood control project.
Here are the other subjects of the arrest warrant issued by the Sandiganbayan Third Division aside from Revilla:

former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Jaypee Mendoza
former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Arjay Domasig
former DPWH Bulacan First DEO Engr. Emelita Juat
former DPWH Bulacan First DEO finance section chief Juanito Mendoza, at
DPWH Bulacan First District Engineering Office cashier Christina Pineda
Last night, the public was surprised when former Sen.
Bong Revilla surrendered to the authorities and was brought to Camp Crame
Revilla claimed he’s saddened that there’s seemingly no due process. Meanwhile, he stressed that he fill face it without fear as he is innocent. He is confident that God will not forsake him.
“Nakatanggap po kami ng impormasyon na lumabas na ang aming warrant of arrest. Nakakalungkot po na parang wala yatang due process. Pero ganun pa man haharapin ko ‘to nang walang takot at alam kong hindi ako pababayaan ng Diyos dahil wala akong kasalanan dito,”
the former Senator said.
Based on a
post
of former Sen. Bong Revilla on social media, he is seeking for prayers for him and also asked the public to strengthen his family. He admitted that he cannot explain what he feels and the turn of events is painful to him and his family.
“Hihilingin ko lang ang inyong panalangin at patatagin niyo rin po ang aking pamilya. Hindi ko po maipaliwanag kung anong nararamdaman ko sa totoo lang. Napakasakit po para sa akin at para sa aking pamilya,”
Revilla said.
Previously, the Department of Justice or
DOJ confirmed that they are set to issue a subpoena against former Sen. Bong Revilla and Sen. Jinggoy Estrada
