Bong Revilla Case: Palace Says Due Process Must Prevail

President Bongbong Marcos has expressed sadness over the issuance of an arrest warrant against his friend, former Senator Bong Revilla, Jr.

Revilla is being drawn into the issue of anomalous flood control projects, and allegations have surfaced that he received kickbacks, which he denied last year.

As the investigation continued, an arrest warrant against him was released, and before it was served, the actor-politician already decided to surrender to the PNP- Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) after the Sandiganbayan Third Division issued an arrest warrant against him and several other personalities.
