Senator Robin Padilla expressed how honored he is to work with his fellow lawmaker, Senator Bato dela Rosa.
Padilla and Dela Rosa are known to be allies in the political arena. They are known to be supporters of former President Rodrigo Duterte and Vice President Sara Duterte.
For several months now, Dela Rosa has been a no-show in the Senate. This came after the reports that a warrant of arrest was released against him regarding his alleged crime against humanity due to the controversial war on drugs of FPRRD’s administration.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa’s absence in the Senate garnered different reactions. He is being criticized for not being present since he has to do his job as a senator. Senator Win Gatchalian stressed that

. On the other hand, Senate President Tito Sotto said that even though Dela Rosa is absent,
it does not mean that his office is not functioning
