In an amusing moment, a pet cat entertained its owners by playing with a CCTV camera while they were out.

Chantale Francisco and her family had gone out for the evening, leaving Taffy, their adorable Ragdoll-Persian mix, alone in the living room in Quezon City.

The curious eleven-month-old kitty was prompted to hop onto a table and lounge in front of the device on the evening of December 22.

Surveillance footage shows Taffy placing his front paws on the bracket where the CCTV was mounted before sniffing the gadget.

He then sat in front of the lens, fascinated, watching it rotate as Francisco maneuvered the camera remotely to check on him.

Taffy can be seen batting the camera as he stares directly into the lens.

“He’s a curious boy. Every time he sees something new, he always makes sure to give it a ‘tippy tap.’ He loves to play. I think that, as well as being curious, he wants to play with anything he sees moving,” Francisco said.
