The first impeachment complaint filed before the Office of the Secretary General of the House of Representatives was endorsed by

Pusong Pinoy

“ordering and enabling the kidnapping and surrender of ex-President Rodrigo Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC)

being a drug addict whose condition impairs his judgment and leadership

failing to veto unprogrammed appropriations and other unconstitutional provisions of the national budget for 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026

benefitting from kickbacks arising from budget insertions and ghost flood control projects

However, recently,

Kabataan Party-list

Representative Renee Co complained that another

impeachment complaint against Marcos Jr. was allegedly not accepted by the House Secretary General

. She also claimed that the complainants allegedly feels that there’s a supposed effort to block the impeachment.

Recently, one of the complainants of the third impeachment complaint against Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. claimed that former House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman Zaldy Co is allegedly willing to testify in the impeachment complaint against the President. He is one of the supposed big role players in the flood control scam.

Zaldy Co previously accused Marcos Jr. and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez of allegedly masterminding a P100-billion budget insertion in the 2025 national fund. He also claimed that they allegedly got at least P56 billion kickbacks.

Former partylist lawmaker Michael Defensor who is one of the complainants in the third impeachment complaint against Pres. Bongbong Marcos claimed that Zaldy Co is allegedly willingly to reveal his knowledge on the supposed corruption in the government. Defensor also claimed that Co is also allegedly willing to disclose how the budget for the unprogrammed allocation is set.

“Zaldy Co is willing to testify on our behalf doon sa graft and corruption issue at sa lahat na nalalaman niyang bigayan ng pera, maging yung pagkaayos ng budget in the unprogrammed allocation,”

Defensor said.

Based on the

report

, Defensor and several officials of the government tried to file an impeachment complaint against Marcos Jr. before the Office of the House Secretary General but it was not accepted by the office. The non-acceptance was reportedly for the reason that House Secretary Gen. Cheloy Garafil is in abroad.

“This is a warning to the Office of the Secretary General, that we will file a case against the office,”

he said.

Recently, House Majority Leader and Ilocos Norte Congressman

Sandro Marcos spoke on the impeachment complaint filed against his father, Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
