Netizen Asks P500 For Return Of Driver’s License
A male netizen earn criticism after asking for money in exchange for a driver’s license he claimed to have found in Barangay Tangos, Navotas.
In his post, the netizen explained that he found the license near a convenience store in the area. He stated that if the owner wanted to recover it, payment was required. He even went as far as saying that if no payment was given, the license could be thrown away.
His statement angered many people online, who felt that asking for money was wrong and unnecessary.
Some netizens criticized the post and said that returning a lost ID should be done out of goodwill, not for profit. They pointed out that losing a driver’s license already causes stress and extra expenses for the owner, such as applying for a replacement.
Others expressed concern that the license could fall into the wrong hands and be used for illegal purposes.
