Former Sen. Antonio Trillanes Gives Message for Sen. Bato dela Rosa amid his Supposed “Hiding”

– The former Senator challenges Sen. Bato dela Rosa to join former President Rodrigo Roa Duterte under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands if he really loves him.
For more than 10 months now, former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte remains under the custody of the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands. Previously, it was reported that
over 1,000 evidence were handed over by the prosecution to Duterte’s camp
. The foreign court denied his appeal for an interim release.
Former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte is faced with three (3) counts of murder as alleged “crimes against humanity” filed by the ICC prosecution. Recently, the foreign court also opened a microsite to call for “direct witnesses” to the controversial war on drugs of the Duterte administration.
Amid the ICC detention of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla claimed that the ICC has allegedly released an arrest warrant against Sen. Bato dela Rosa. He was the first chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP) during the tenure of Duterte.

Sen. Bato dela Rosa skipped the Senate sessions since November 11, 2025. Recently, former Sen. Antonio Trillanes IV issued a challenge for the former PNP chief-turned-Senator amid his supposed hiding.
