Group of Young People Clash in Fistfight & Stone-Throwing Over Drinking Session in Cainta

Drinking Session Between Group of Young People Turns Violent in Cainta

A drinking session in Cainta, Rizal was disrupted when a group of young people got into a fistfight and started throwing stones.

On early hours of Saturday, January 24, 2026, a group of young people clashed in a fistfight during a drinking session along Flora Street in Barangay Sto. Domingo

According to barangay officials, the disturbance was first noticed around one in the morning near the corner of Flora Street and Irma Street. CCTV operators monitoring the area saw a group of young people drinking outside a house.

Barangay authorities said the group had already been warned several times to stop because it was past curfew, and they did not have permission to hold a drinking session on the street.

Barangay tanod reportedly patrolled the area three times. During the second round, the young people began packing up and appeared ready to leave. Barangay officers also arrived and reminded them that drinking in public streets without proper permits is not allowed, especially late at night.

Both parties later filed separate blotter reports. Two men from the group of youths claimed they were already cleaning up when they were suddenly punched by the neighbor.

Meanwhile, the couple insisted that the young people shouted at them first and became aggressive, forcing the husband to defend himself. These opposing claims were treated as countercharges by the barangay.
