– The Phivolcs recorded a 5.9 magnitude quake in Sultan Kudarat today, January 28, 2026. Here are the details.
5.7 magnitude earthquake in Sultan Kudarat
, another significant quake was recently recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) in another province. According to the agency, the quake that recently hit Sultan Kudarat has a magnitude of 5.9.
The shaking occurred at 02:46 PM with a depth of 4 km, and the location is 06.38°N, 123.59°E – 055 km S 69° W of Kalamansig of Sultan Kudarat. Aftershocks are still occuring.
