In a hilarious moment, a fish made a daring escape from a bucket, startling a woman who had caught it.

Footage captured by Kaihla Mae Rillon shows her friends attempting to catch tilapia from a manmade pond in Oriental Mindoro.

Moments later, Rillon’s cousin scooped from the container and looked inside to see if she had managed to grab one.

When she peeked into the bucket, the fish leapt out, almost hitting her face. She can be seen recoiling as she screams in shock.

The group then burst into fits of laughter as the fish swam back into the pond.
