Several issues surrounded Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in 2025. Amid the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption in the country which allegedly involved several government officials, the Chief Executive was dragged into the isse.

. Co who is supposedly a huge role player in the flood control mess also claimed that the President and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez supposedly received at least P56 billion in kickback.
Malacañang defended Pres. Bongbong Marcos from the corruption accusations. According to Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro, Zaldy Co allegedly wants the investigation to stop so he implicated the President.

. According to her, their family supposedly knows about the alleged problem with her brother. She called for him to undergo treatment.

Recently, the OCTA Research released the result of its 4th Quarter
Tugon ng Masa
survey. Based on a report on PhilStar, the results showed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ trust rating declined from 57% in September 2025 to 48%.

, OCTA Research said that 31% Filipinos expressed distrust on the President. Aside from Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ trust rating going down, his performance ratings also slightly reduced from 54% to 51%.
The highest performance rating of Marcos Jr. was recorded in Balance Luzon with 58%. His lowest performance rating was recorded in Mindanao at 42%. Recently, two (2) impeachment complaints were filed against the President.
