Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Speaks on Marcos Jr. after Recent Hospitalization

– Duterte’s former Spokesman believes that a hospital is allegedly being built inside the Malacañang Palace now for President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Last January 22, countless Filipinos were left curious after the Malacañang announced that Pres. Ferdinand
Marcos Jr. spent a night under medical observation
. He experienced discomfort and was brought to St. Luke’s Medical Center.

Marcos Jr. was advised by his doctors to rest
but he told them that he cannot let allot of things and work to be done to wait for him. To meet them halfway, he limited his engagements within the Palace for a few days as per Malacañang press officer Atty. Claire Castro.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos personally revealed the doctors’ diagnosis to him amid the public asking about his condition. According to the Chief Executive, he was diagnosed with diverticulitis, a condition characterized by the inflammation or infection in the colon. He associated it with stress and aging.
Amid the questions on his
slimmer physique after his hospitalization, Marcos Jr. claimed that he was on a soft diet
for a few days so his intestine can recover. He claimed that his doctors are great and he’s given antibiotics but he really feels better now.
Harry Roque asked Marcos Jr. why he would wait as his body is allegedly already starting to deteriorate
. Roque was the presidential spokesman during the term of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Harry Roque fled from the Philippines amid the investigation of the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGOs) in the country. The House of Representatives previously ordered his arrest for contempt over the probe on his alleged ties with the illegal POGOs. Recently, he spoke anew on Marcos Jr.
Through a post on social media, Harry Roque expressed his belief that a hospital is allegedly being constructed inside the Malacañang Palace now. According to him, it is supposedly a preparation for Pres. Bongbong Marcos.
“Sa tingin ko, while we speak, walang kaduda-duda gumagawa na sila ng ospital kasama ang operating room diyan sa loob ng Malacañang para pag handaan ‘yung darating na panahon na baka kailanganin na nga ni Marcos Jr. ng operasyon,”

Duterte’s former Spokesman further claimed that an operation because of diverticulitis is supposedly risky. Based on the

, he claimed that the Palace will allegedly keep the matter if the President will have to undergo an operation.
“‘Pag siya po’y nag-operasyon hindi po ‘yan mag-aanunsyo kasi alam nila na kapag nag operasyon delikado ‘yung kanyang diverticulitis. ‘Yan po yang sinasabi ng mga medical literature na kapag kailangan na nga ng operasyon ibig sabihin nag spread na ang impeksyon sa kanyang colon at baka sa ibang parte ng katawan. Kaya itatago nila ‘yan at kung kailangan ng surgery baka gawin nila ‘yan sa Malacañang,”
he said.
