Youth Brawl in Sampaloc Caught on CCTV

A youth brawl along Lacson Avenue in Barangay 411, Sampaloc, Manila was caught on camera, two teenagers arrested.

On Tuesday night, February 3, 2026, around 25 young individuals running, chasing each other, and throwing objects along the busy road were captured on CCTV.

The video revealed the youths scattered across the street, with some even crossing the opposite lane. Stones and bottles were thrown, reaching the middle of the road and forcing motorists to slow down or stop.

The sudden disorder disrupted traffic and worried residents and passersby in the area.

Barangay officials acted quickly after a village watchman reported the disturbance. The barangay immediately coordinated with the Tactical Motorcycle Riding Unit of Manila Police District Station 14.

With their help, authorities chased the group as they fled the scene. Two teenagers, aged 14 and 16, were eventually caught. Officials later confirmed that the two were not residents of Barangay 411.

Although no weapons were recovered, the aftermath of the incident left stones and broken bottles scattered on the road. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and no civilians were harmed during the commotion.

Due to the frequent occurrence of similar incidents in the area, the barangay assured residents that patrols would be increased. Plans are also in place to install additional CCTV cameras to help monitor the streets more closely.
