Sen. Bato dela Rosa Yet To Appear in Senate Sessions But Proposes New Measure

– Amid his supposed ‘hiding’, the Senator pushed for an act seeking for traffic safety education for kindergarten, elementary, and high school students.

Sen. Dela Rosa is no show in the Senate sessions since November 11. His long absence from the chamber started after Ombudsman Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla claimed that the International Criminal Court (ICC) allegedly released an arrest warrant against him.

During the term of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte, Sen. Bato dela Rosa was the first chief of the Philippine National Police (PNP). A certain “dela Rosa” described as chief PNP was mentioned in the case of the former President before the ICC.

Presidential sister and Sen. Imee Marcos also previously claimed that the office of Sen. dela Rosa remains functional. According to her, the Senator still gets to sign important documents that need his signatures.
