Fuel Companies to Impose Mixed Oil Price Adjustments Set This Week
FUEL PRICE UPDATE – Mixed oil price adjustments are expected starting Tuesday (February 10, 2026), according to various gasoline stations.
Motorists across the country will need to set aside a bit more for fuel this week as oil companies implement another round of price increases starting this week.
It marks the fifth straight week of higher gasoline prices and the seventh consecutive increase for both diesel and kerosene, continuing a trend that has been felt by many drivers and commuters.
Fuel retailers announced that gasoline prices will go up by P0.60 per liter, while diesel will increase by P1.00 per liter. Kerosene users will also see an additional P0.60 per liter at the pump. These adjustments will take effect early Tuesday morning for Shell Pilipinas and Seaoil, while Cleanfuel will apply the changes later in the afternoon. Cleanfuel does not sell kerosene, so the increase will only affect its gasoline and diesel products.
The latest increase comes after a series of weekly increases that have already pushed fuel costs higher since January. Just last week, gasoline prices rose by P0.80 per liter, diesel by P1.60, and kerosene by P1.10, adding pressure on household budgets and transport expenses.
Energy officials explained that global developments continue to influence local fuel prices. Tensions in key oil-producing regions have affected market confidence, while higher demand from countries experiencing winter has placed added strain on supply.
These factors have outweighed earlier expectations of mixed price movements, which were based on easing geopolitical concerns, steady oil supply from non-OPEC countries, and milder weather forecasts in the United States.
With
fuel prices
climbing once more, many motorists are adjusting their travel plans and looking for ways to manage costs. Some drivers are choosing carpooling or limiting non-essential trips, while transport groups are closely watching how the increases may affect fares.
