In her speech during the ecumenical prayer rally for truth and justice held yesterday, February 8, at the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite, the actress-politician disclosed the advice that Bong received at the height of the controversy.
the actress and politician said at the ecumenical prayer rally for truth and justice yesterday, February 8, at the Aguinaldo Shrine in Kawit, Cavite.
Also present at the gathering were the couple’s children: Agimat Partylist Rep. Bryan Revilla, Cavite 1st District Rep. Jolo Revilla, and Cavite Vice Governor Ram Revilla Bautista, showing their support for their father during this challenging time.
Continuing her statement, the congresswoman emphasized the personal sacrifices her husband made in choosing to face the allegations head-on.
Lani said emphatically.
Lani also admitted that their family is going through an extremely difficult period because of what happened to Bong Revilla.
The Office of the Ombudsman has filed graft and malversation charges against Revilla and six other officials from the DPWH Bulacan 1st District Engineering Office over the alleged P92.8 million ghost flood control project in Pandi, Bulacan.
On January 19, Revilla surrendered to authorities after learning that the Sandiganbayan had issued a warrant of arrest and a hold departure order against him.
