Female Customer Expresses Frustration w/ Delivery Rider Over Soggy Food

A female customer expressed disappointment toward a delivery rider who brought her order because the food arrived soggy.

According to Solis, the delivery rider handed her a Jollibee paper bag from the Tandang Sora Commonwealth branch that was already wet and dripping. She said the rider casually gave it to her and told her to handle the matter herself.

At first, she accepted the order even though she noticed some liquid on the side of the bag. She expected that maybe only one item had spilled slightly. However, when she opened the package, she saw that the food containers had tilted.

The corned beef and egg meal she ordered looked badly mashed and mixed together because of the spill.

Joarra later clarified that the rider did not explain what happened and did not offer an apology. Despite her disappointment, she still gave the rider a four-star rating. She only filed a report with Grab after seeing the actual condition of the food inside the bag.

She added that everyone works hard for their money and deserves to receive their order in good condition.

Grab reportedly informed her to wait for 24 hours regarding her concern. As of her update, she was still waiting for a response.
