Female Customer Expresses Dismay Over Manager’s Behavior at Famous Fast-Food Chain
A female customer expressed her frustration over the reported attitude of a manager at a popular fast-food chain in the country.
Madel understood that the store was crowded since it was a Friday and also the day before Valentine’s Day.
However, as time passed, their order had still not been served. By 4:20 p.m., they were still waiting. She checked the monitor inside the store but noticed that no orders were marked as being prepared.
Feeling hungry and tired of waiting, she decided to ask for a refund and also requested to speak with the manager.
According to her, the manager came from outside the counter area while she was already explaining her concern. Instead of talking to her, the manager allegedly walked past her and went straight into the kitchen.
After a few minutes, the manager returned. Madel asked why she was ignored and questioned how the outlet was being handled.
The manager reportedly explained that she had just arrived and that there were problems in the kitchen, including a shortage of staff and an issue with cooking the chicken. Madel said she understood that problems can happen, but she felt that customers should be informed if there would be a long wait.
Eventually, her order was refunded, though she mentioned that even the refund process took time. Despite her frustration, she admitted that she also apologized for sounding upset. Her child even said sorry to the manager and left the branch still hungry.
