Palace Reiterates Statement of Marcos Jr. on Flood Control Mess
MARCOS JR. – The Palace reiterated the statement of the President that more individuals who are guilty in the flood control mess will be jailed before Christmas Day.

Several senators, members of the House of Representatives, and officials of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) are accused of flood control corruption. Amid the issue, President Bongbong Marcos ordered the creation of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI.

. According to him, the Marcos Jr. administration remains committed to deliver accountability over the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption in the country.
Recently, the Palace reiterated the previous statement of Marcos Jr. that more individuals who are guilty of flood control corruption will be jailed before Christmas. The President previously claimed that the Christmas of those who are involved in the flood control mess won’t be “merry”.
“Ngayon tatlong buwan pa lang simula nung binunyag ng ating Pangulo ito at marami nang nakasuhan at marami pang makakasuhan at meron ng mga nakulong at pangako nga ng Pangulo natin, bago mag-Pasko, mas marami pang makukulong
,” the PCO Official said.

, Gomez also said that those who will be jailed before Christmas Day include the so-called “big fish”. According to him, the important thing now is the gathering of strong evidence for the case build-up.
“Ang importante lang talaga, mapatibay natin ‘yung ating mga ebidensya sa ating case build-up para this time around walang makakalusot sa mga nagnakaw sa bayan. Sisiguraduhin natin mananagot sila at mababawi natin yung kanilang mga ninakaw,”
he expressed.

Zaldy Co tagged Pres. Bongbong Marcos and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez in the budget insertion issue as well as the ‘kickback’ issue
