Two teenage students in Davao City were rescued by police after allegedly selling illegal drugs worth P300,000 in Purok 15, Barangay 5-A, Bankerohan.
On Tuesday (December 2, 2025), the authorities seized six packages of what appeared to be marijuana leaves from the two boys during a morning anti-drug operation. The total value of the confiscated substances was estimated at around P372,000.
Police identified the teenagers as “Dang,” 16-year-old, and “Kaloy,” 17-year-old, both of whom are currently attending school in the city.
Authorities are also investigating how the teenagers became involved in selling illegal drugs and whether others were connected to their activities.
The incident has caught attention to the increasing risk of youth being lured into illegal activities. Families and community members are urged to remain vigilant and to guide young people away from harmful influences.
Police explained the importance of community support in preventing minors from engaging in illegal acts while emphasizing that the welfare and safety of the teenagers remain a priority.
The Davao City police continue their efforts to monitor and curb illegal drug activities, especially those involving minors, as part of a broader initiative to maintain safe neighborhoods and protect the city’s youth.
