OFFICE OF THE VICE PRESIDENT – VP Sara Duterte’s office has these recent equipment acquisitions for 2023–2024.

According to the Commission on Audit’s annual report for

‘s office acquisitions for 2023–2024, CCTV units, vehicles, computer equipment and other assets were purchased.

Based on the Commission on Audit’s (COA) notes to the financial statements for the OVP, Duterte’s office acquired 13 units of laptops valued at PHP 3.916 million. This means each unit costs around PHP 301,230.00.

However, there’s a clerical error in this particular part. The total amount accordingly pertains to 12 donated photocopiers valued at PHP 3.82 million and one desktop computer for video editing valued at PHP 92,000.

COA also released a detailed list of how the office spent its PHP 76.11 million in property, plant and equipment (PPE) acquisitions in 2023 and 2024. The list included vehicles, cameras, computer equipment and other assets, which are identified as “acquisitions” because the equipment can either be purchased or donated.

Based on the list, the seven “units of CCTV” were worth PHP 1.484 million. Each is worth over PHP 212,464.00. Motorcycles were also donated in 2024, worth PHP 5.108 million, to two schools, amounting to PHP 44,295 each unit.

Other particulars also included a high-value air purifier (₱179,800.00), a biometric device (₱120,471.40), two workstation sets (₱76,980.00), a conference table (₱69,960.00), an AMS product key (₱59,584.00), and an outdoor signage (₱58,000.00).

The additions in CY 2024 also included two units of buses for the Libreng Sakay Program, worth ₱12,560,000.00, ₱10,284,000.00 for 10 units of multi-purpose vehicles, ₱5,570,000.00 for a 10-wheeler wing van, ₱2,795,000.00 for two passenger vans, and 1,383,521.62 for seven sets of CCTV system, among others.
