Drivers in select Metro Manila areas can now book parking slots without needing to send someone ahead to hold the space.
This can be done through the
LuvPark app
, a Filipino-made app that helps drivers secure parking in advance at 22 locations.
The app provides a hassle-free parking experience, saving time and gas by eliminating the need to circle around searching for spots, thanks to its real-time parking space tracker.

The app reportedly also suggests nearby parking spaces if LuvPark does not yet support a particular establishment.
Rates start from P30 for base fees and go up to P300 for overnight parking.
Users can pay via various options, including GCash, Maya, credit or debit cards, or a token-based in-app wallet, depending on the partner facility.
Senior citizen and PWD discounts are also recognized by the app.
To book a parking space, drivers need to:
Reserve a parking slot in an operational parking lot near their destination. They must be within 20 kilometers of the facility.
Enter their vehicle plate number and select a payment method of their choice.
Reserve the parking slot of their choice.
Once they get to the facility, a LuvPark attendant will guide them to their parking slot.
Steps to book a parking space can also be found on the app’s page.
The LuvPark app is available on both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
Last year, several reports emerged of people standing on parking slots to reserve them, despite the general “first-come, first-served” policy in parking areas.
These incidents prompted a lawmaker to
file a bill
penalizing those who reserve parking slots in this manner.
Parking spaces are usually assigned on a first-come, first-served basis if there are no specific rules or guidelines in place. This concept means that the vehicle closest to the slot and the driver who arrives first has the right to park. It is considered common courtesy to give the slot to the car that was first to stop in front of or near it.
