(Gabriela Party-list) criticized the normalization of lewd jokes after female housemates on

“Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0”

called out objectifying remarks inside the PBB house that normalizes “birong bastos.”

Elago urged “PBB” producers to hold gender-sensitivity seminars for housemates and to create guided discussions that help young audiences understand consent, boundaries and everyday sexism.

The party-list also offered to assist the “PBB” team in integrating stronger gender education into the show.

“Gabriela Women’s Party is open to providing assistance should the producers or the PBB team wish to integrate stronger gender education components into the show. Malaking bagay na makita ng publiko na bawal ang bastos sa bahay ni Kuya,” she added.
