Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte Slams Malacañang’s ‘Reform Measures”

– The Davao Congressman reacted to the “Priority List of Reform Measures” of the Marcos Jr. administration.
The flood control mess in the Philippines brought thousands of Filipinos into the streets to protest against the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption. The so-called “Trillion Peso March” was held last September 21 and November 30 to call for accountability from the government.

The flood control investigation is led by the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI. It was created under the executive order of President Bongbong Marcos. It has invited several government officials amid the probe.

According to Duterte, the ICC has no power nor authority over him. He claimed that the commission should investigate Marcos Jr., his family, and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez instead.

Amid the flood control mess in the Philippines, Pres. Bongbong Marcos asked the Congress to prioritize certain measures such as the Anti-Dynasty bill, the Independent People’s Commission Act bill, the Party-list System Reform Act bill, and the Citizens Access and Disclosure of Expenditures for National Accountability or CADENA Act bill.

Through a post on social media, Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte claimed that it is clear that the Marcos Jr. administration just allegedly want to create an impressive image towards the people. He believes that the intention to end political dynasties in the country is allegedly not true.
