– The President expressed his hope that the next administrations will continue the structural reforms initiated by the current government.

The Philippine government is currently hurled by a lot of issues now — most especially the supposed massive flood control corruption in the country. Amid the issue, Pres. Bongbong Marcos ordered the creation of an independent commission to investigate the issue.

The executive order led to the creation of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure or ICI. The three-member body tasked to investigate the flood control issue is led by former Justice Andres Reyes Jr.

. According to him, he started the flood control investigation and he will bring it to conviction.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) previously stressed that progress is allegedly evident in the process of the flood control investigation and the government has started to get the loot from the corrupt individuals. According to Marcos Jr., more individuals who are guilty of flood control corruption will spend Christmas in jail.

“My hope and the reason the structural change is important is because kahit wala na ako rito, sana ‘yung mga pagbabagong nasimulan namin o na tumatakbo na, magtuloy-tuloy na para hindi na matanggal,”

Marcos Jr. said.

Pres. Bongbong Marcos also believes that the said structural changes may get even better “if we choose our presidents well”. Based on the

Previously, amid the flood control mess, Pres.

Bongbong Marcos stressed that the resignation of the government officials linked to the flood control corruption is “not enough”
