Ilocos Norte Cong. Sandro Marcos Takes Step on Dad’s Priority Measure

– The Ilocos Norte 1st District Congressman filed the Anti-Political Dynasty Bill that his father, President Bongbong Marcos, wants prioritized.
Amid several officials in the Philippine government bearing the same surnames, “political dynasty” is one of the issues in the country. Previously, several government officials who have family members in the political arena were asked about their two cents on the matter.

Previously, with his brother, Senator Raffy Tulfo, being also in the Senate, Sen.
Erwin Tulfo claimed that he supports the anti-political dynasty bill and will resign if it will be passed
. Sen. Raffy Tulfo is already in the upper chamber when his two (2) brothers, Erwin and Mon, ran for a seat in the chamber.
Recently, the “political dynasty” in the Philippines gathered different opinions again after Pres. Bongbong Marcos highlighted a measure against it as one of its priorities. Marcos Jr. himself came from a political family.
