Former House Appropriations Budget Committee chairman
Zaldy Co accused Pres. Bongbong Marcos and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez of allegedly masterminding the insertion of P100 billion
in the 2025 national fund.
Zaldy Co also claimed that Marcos Jr. and Romualdez allegedly got a P56 billion kickback all for themselves. According to the resigned

Representative, he was allegedly told by the former House Speaker to stay out of the country as instructed by the President.
The Palace slammed the claims of Zaldy Co saying that he allegedly wants the investigation to stop so he tagged the President. Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro also challenged Co to return to the Philippines and testify under oath.
