Sarah Discaya was slammed by Vince Dizon
Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Sec. Vince Dizon said that controversial government contract Sarah Discaya should also feel pity towards their victims.
Earlier this month, Discaya surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) before the arrest warrant against her was released. However, her camp stressed that this is not an admission of guilt but a legal strategy.
In an interview while she was at the NBI custody, Discaya became emotional. She said that she was
worried about the safety of her children, who have ADHD

Sarah Discaya was firm that she was just “nadamay” and she does not want to be imprisoned because her children with ADHD will be in a pitiful situation.
The secretary said that since a case was already filed against Discaya, and the warrant of arrest is about to be released, she should explain herself only in court and at the precinct.
Dizon also stressed that there was strong evidence against Discaya, including other individuals who were involved in the anomalous flood control projects. Then, the secretary said that the contractor should feel pity towards their victims.

He pointed out that the victims of flooding in Bulacan and Davao Occidental suffered because of ghost projects.
Then, Sec. Vince Dizon directly asked this, “
Saan niya kinuha ‘yong pinambili niya ng Rolls Royce? Dahil trip lang niya, dahil maganda ang payong. Tapos ngayon, sasabihin niya nadamay lang siya [at] wala siyang kinalaman?
The Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI) continues to investigate the anomalous flood control projects which allegedly involved prominent names in the government, including senators and congressmen.
