Teacher Who Gave 79 Grade Called to Barangay After Complaint from Mother

Teacher Called to Barangay After Giving 79 Grade Called to Student

A teacher was summoned to the barangay because of an issue involving her student’s grade, after the student received a final grade of 79.

The teacher from Daniel R. Aguinaldo National High School was reported to the barangay by the student’s mother. The teacher explained that the student’s original grade was 73 and that she made an effort to raise it to 79 after reviewing the child’s performance.

However, the mother questioned the grading system of the school and expressed her frustration, which deeply affected the teacher. Because of the heated exchange, the situation escalated and led to the teacher being summoned to the barangay hall.

At the same time, the mother stood by her actions, saying she was only protecting her child and referring to the Child Protection Policy as the reason for bringing the issue to the barangay.

The incident also reached the teacher’s family. Her own child reportedly felt saddened and upset after seeing their parents embarrassed because of the incident.

The issue opened a wider conversation online about respect, communication, and understanding between parents and teachers.

Many internet users pointed out that concerns about grades are valid but should be handled calmly and within the school first.
