PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (December 31, 2025)

PAGASA LATEST UPDATE – The state weather bureau reported that generally fair-weather with a chance of rain is expected on New Year’s Eve.

On Wednesday (December 31, 2025), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. Three weather systems will affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA weather specialist Daniel James Villamil reported that three weather systems will bring generally fair weather with a chance of rain.

” Villamil said.

The shear line and easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol Region, Palawan, and the Visayas.

The easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Mindanao and the rest of MIMAROPA.

Nandiyan pa rin yung mga tiyanasa ng usual afternoon to evening na mga rain showers or thunderstorms, especially dito sa area ng Southern Luzon at tiyansa ng light rains ‘yong ating mararanasan sa Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,”

Villamil added.

The northeast monsoon will bring similar weather conditions over Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon. No low-pressure areas or tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility within the next few days.

The weather agency advised the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains and severe thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the northern and eastern sections of Luzon will be moderate to rough. The remaining parts of the country will be slight to moderate, according to
