Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Extends New Year Greetings To All
Harry Roque, the former spokesman of former President Rodrigo Duterte, took to social media a cryptic New Year greetings.
Amid the detention of former Pres. Rodrigo Duterte under the custody of the International Criminal Court (ICC), countless supporters and allies of the Duterte family remain loyal to them. Many of them called for the return of the former President to the country.

Duterte’s former spokesman Harry Roque previously claimed that the former President’s wish is allegedly to be able to return to his house in Davao City before his death. The former Spokesman is also currently in The Netherlands where he applied for an asylum.
Roque is one of the Filipinos who usually stay outside the ICC detention facility in The Hague where the former President is detained. Last November, the
ICC denied the interim release of former Pres. Duterte
. The decision of the foreign court was accepted by the Duterte family “with open hearts”.
Duterte’s former spokesman Harry Roque previously offered to be part of the ICC legal team of the former President. He was in hiding for several months amid the arrest order of the House of Representatives over his alleged involvement in the illegal Philippine Offshore Gaming operations and only appeared in public when the custody of the former President was transferred to the ICC in The Hague.
According to Roque, it was allegedly Vice Pres. Sara Duterte who advised him to process his asylum. Duterte’s former Spokesman claimed that he supposedly cannot be deported while the process is ongoing.
