A tourist joined local children for a game of leapfrog or “luksong baka” at a park.

Serbian holidaymaker Danilo joined a group of youngsters for the jumping game at Luneta Park in Manila.

Footage captured by Sara Bircanin shows Danilo hunching over, tucking his head in for protection, while a line of boys and girls wait their turn to jump over him on December 28.

Eight youngsters can be seen vaulting over the vacationer, stretching their arms downwards onto his back to support their weight.

In another clip, Danilo took his turn to leap over a youngster in a black shirt, prompting cheers from the crowd of children.

“If we had to pick just one memory from Manila, this would be it. It was so fun,” Bircanin said.

“In your 20s, kids in Manila will ask you to play leapfrog with them. It’s very important that you do,” the text in the video reads.

Several TikTok users were surprised by the English translation of the traditional Filipino game, luksong baka.

“I was 30 years old when I know that ‘Luksong Baka’ has an English term called ‘Leapfrog’ thanks man!!!” a TikTok user wrote.

“Wow! We call that ‘luksong baka’ or leap over a cow,” another wrote.

“Mahaba naman kase pag sinabing ‘leap frog over a cow’ di ba?” a TikTok user asked.

“Leapfrog pala to. Buong buhay ko luksong baka alam ko,” another said.

Others were amused that the tourist was able to enjoy how Filipinos play and got nostalgic about it.

“Reminds me of my younger days in the Philippines!! Nakakatuwang makita ulit ito. Happy memories,” another said.
