In an impressive moment, a beauty queen picked herself up with grace after falling off the back of a stage.
Michelle Balalin, wearing a purple two-piece swimsuit, was modeling across the small stage when she misstepped and plunged from the platform in Camarines Sur.
Footage shows the woman disappearing from the view, prompting the pageant audience to gasp in concern on December 28.
Moments later, she emerged with confidence from the side of the stage as if nothing had happened.
The crowd could be heard cheering her on as she posed and flaunted her look in front of the judges.
“I stood up, gathered my courage, and continued, not just for the performance, but for myself. That fall did not break me. It revealed my strength. True victory is not in never falling, but in always rising,” she added.
