Duterte’s Former Spox Harry Roque Slams Results of Latest Surveys on Marcos Jr.
HARRY ROQUE
– Duterte’s former Spokesman reacted to the “negative trust ratings” of President Bongbong Marcos in the latest surveys.
In 2025, there were several instances when Pres. Bongbong Marcos’ trust ratings in the surveys conducted by the popular opinion-polling bodies dropped. There were also times when it rose and the Chief Executive visibly does not consider it a big deal.
However, recently, the trust ratings of Marcos Jr. dropped to the extent of negative. The results of the survey came after the Chief Executive was tagged in the corruption issue in the government as well as the illegal drug use accusation.
Former House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman Zaldy Co claimed that Marcos Jr. was allegedly behind a P100-billion budget insertion in the 2025 national fund. He also claimed that the President and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez supposedly received a P156-billion all for themselves.

“Kaya naman. Nais niyong mag-negative si Vangag. Kaya, negative na siya,”
Harry Roque said.
According to Harry Roque, the negative trust ratings of Pres. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. allegedly mean that the people no longer approve what he is doing.
“So ano po ang ibig sabihin na tatlong major polling firms ay nag-report ng negative approval rating kay Marcos Jr.? Ibig sabihin po talaga na karamihan ng Pilipino ay hindi na-approve sa ginagawa ni Marcos Jr.,”
