Statement of Malacañang on Impeachment Talks against Marcos Jr.
Malacañang claimed that President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is ready to face any impeachment case against him citing he did not stole money.

Amid the questions and the complaint, House Senior Deputy Minority Leader Rep. Edgar Erice claimed that an impeachment complaint may allegedly be filed against Pres. Bongbong Marcos when the session of the Congress resumes. Recently, Malacañang reacted to the impeachment talks against the President.
”Ang Pangulo naman handa naman po sa lahat ng pagkakataon dahil siya po ay gumagalang sa Konstitusyon, gumagalang po siya sa proseso,”

, Malacañang press officer undersecretary Claire Castro also stressed that if the impeachment talks is in line with the budget law passed, Marcos Jr. supposedly did not steal money. The Palace official also emphasized that it was the President who initiated the investigation of the flood control anomalies.
