Senior Citizen’s Condo Unit in Marikina Robbed, Suspect Arrested

Suspect Arrested After Robbing Senior Citizen’s Condo Unit in Marikina City

A senior citizen’s condo unit in Barangay Sto. Niño, Marikina City, was robbed by a suspect who ignored a checkpoint.

On Sunday (January 11, 2026), the 21-year-old suspect arrived at the condominium riding a motorcycle and ignored a checkpoint set up by the building’s security guards, according to Marikina police.

Instead of stopping, he went straight inside and parked his motorcycle in the parking area. He then made his way up to the second floor of the building.

The unit belongs to a senior citizen dentist who currently lives in Davao City and was not around at the time of the incident.

The suspect managed to enter the unit by forcing the door open using a tool. As he was leaving the condominium unit, the guards caught him in the act. He tried to escape by running, but the guards were able to corner and stop him before he could get away.
