Authorities Arrest Man for Allegedly Taking Advantage of Teenage Girl in Marikina City
A 19-year-old man was arrested in Marikina City for allegedly molesting a 15-year-old girl in two separate incidents at different cemeteries.
The suspect, known by the alias Mike, was listed as the second most wanted person by the Marikina City Police.
The incident reportedly began when the victim borrowed a cycling short from the suspect, which she could not return because it was lost. Authorities said the suspect then allegedly asked her to meet him at a cemetery.
“Itong babae po ay nanghiram ng cycling dito sa lalaki. Hindi niya maisoli kasi nawawala. From there, sabi ng lalaki, pumunta ka rito sa sementeryo,”
Marikina City Police Station Police Colonel Jenny Tecson said.
The first incident allegedly occurred on May 8, 2024, in a cemetery in Barangay Sta. Elena, and the second happened on May 17, 2024, at a cemetery in Barangay Tañong. At the time, both the suspect and the victim were minors and Grade 10 students who knew each other.
“Yung suspek po natin nung nangyari yung insidente ay 17 years old so menor de edad po siya at ang kanyang biktima ay 15 years old. They’re both students, grade 10.. magkakilala po sila. Parehas pong sa sementeryo ang pangyayari,”

The victim immediately reported the incidents to her parents, who helped file a formal complaint. An arrest warrant was issued in October 2024, but it took some time before authorities could locate the suspect.
He was finally arrested on Monday afternoon, January 12, 2026, in Barangay Fortune. The
suspect
is from Baras, Rizal. During questioning, he denied the allegations, claiming that he and the victim were in a relationship and that no molestation took place.
Despite his denial, he was placed in the custody of the Marikina Police Custodial Facility. He is now facing a charge of acts of lasciviousness with a recommended bail of 400,000 pesos.
