Riding-in-Tandem Suspects Robbed Appliance Store in Rizal
RIDING-IN-TANDEM – An appliance store in Barangay Burgos, Rodriguez, Rizal was robbed by two men riding on a motorcycle.
In the early hours of Monday, January 12, 2026, the robbery incident was captured on the store’s CCTV cameras, showing how quickly and boldly the suspects carried out the break-in.
After that, they used a bolt cutter to destroy the lock of the roll-up door. Once the door was partly opened, one suspect drove the motorcycle straight into the store’s glass door to force it opens further.
The two briefly left the area and after a few moments, one of them finally entered the store.
Inside, the suspect went straight to the cashier area and searched the drawers for money. However, the store staff had hidden the cash in a different place after noticing suspicious activity days before the incident. Because of this, the suspects failed to take any cash.
Instead, the man grabbed several items from the display, focusing on new models of wireless and waterproof portable speakers. Three speakers were stolen, with a total value of around twenty-six thousand pesos. After taking the items, the suspects quickly fled the scene.
Barangay officials and police increased patrols in the area after the incident. Authorities continue to search for the suspects and have urged residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity to help keep the community safe.
