Robin began his defense of Bato.

Padilla went on to stress that history itself proves Dela Rosa’s strong work ethic and commitment to the Filipino people.

he continued.

He further highlighted Dela Rosa’s familiarity with the struggles of ordinary Filipinos, particularly those living in extreme poverty, as well as his deep understanding of national defense and security issues.

Padilla said.

According to him, while others rely heavily on theory, Dela Rosa is someone who works directly on the ground.

“Papunta pa lang po ang karamihan ng mga senador pabalik na po si Senator dela Rosa dahil MAN on the Ground po yan hindi po yan Man of theories and data.

“A man of action not of words.”

Padilla also dismissed claims that Dela Rosa’s absence meant neglect of duty, stressing that his office continues to function effectively. He questioned why critics were eager to impose sanctions over missed sessions, asserting,

“He is a Senator of the Filipino people not a Senator of the senate building.”

He ended his statement by urging the public to discern the difference between those living comfortably and those pushed by circumstances, concluding his firm defense amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Senator Dela Rosa.
