Zaldy Co Accused DOJ Undersecretary as Alleged “Bagman” of Pres. Bongbong Marcos in Supposed Corruption

– The Department of Justice confirmed that DOJ Undersecretary Jojo Cadiz who is accused as the President’s alleged “bagman” returned to work.

Even Marcos Jr. himself was tagged in the supposed corruption in the Philippine government. It was former House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman Zaldy Co who implicated the President in the budget insertion mess.

. He also claimed that the President and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez supposedly received a P56 billion kickback.

Co refused to return to the Philippines amid the accusations against him. He is tagged as one of the alleged giant role players in the flood control mess. The Palace claimed that he allegedly tagged the President in the issue as he wants the investigation to stop.

Zaldy Co also implicated DOJ Undersecretary Jojo Cadiz in the supposed corruption issue. According to the former

Representative, Cadiz is allegedly the “bagman” of Pres. Bongbong Marcos.

DOJ Usec. Jojo Cadiz immediately resigned from his position after Zaldy Co tagged him in the flood control mess. Recently, the justice department was asked about the alleged bagman of Pres. Bongbong Marcos to which DOJ spokesperson Polo Martinez confirmed that he has returned to work.

According to Martinez, Cadiz returned to work last January 5. When asked if Marcos Jr. did not accept the resignation, the DOJ Spox said the question should be directed to the Palace.

“He remains undersecretary for the Immigration and Special Concerns Cluster,”

Martinez said.

Amid the flood control mess, two (2) members of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure which was created to probe the issue have resigned. Based on a

report

on PhilStar, Marcos Jr. confirmed that the ICI’s work is coming towards the end. He stressed that all those who must be investigated have already been probed by the commission.
