Amid the Flood Control Mess, DOJ Speaks on Charges vs. Estrada, Revilla
– The Department of Justice is set to issue a subpoena versus Senator Jinggoy Estrada and former Sen. Bong Revilla over the alleged flood control corruption.
Countless Filipinos were left disappointed by the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption. The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) earned massive criticisms amid the flood control mess.
Aside from the officials of the DPWH, several congressmen were tagged in the flood control mess. Some senators and former senators were also tagged in the supposed multi-billion flood control corruption.
Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Joel Villanueva were among the first senators tagged in the flood control mess. They were implicated by dismissed DPWH engineer Brice Hernandez in the issue.

. Both politicians denied the accusations against them. Recently, the DOJ spoke on the two (2) accused in the flood control scam.
DOJ spokesperson Polo Martinez confirmed that the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) has filed separate complaints against former Sen. Bong Revilla and Sen. Jinggoy Estrada. According to Martinez, three (3) separate cases of plunder were separately filed against Revilla and Estrada.
