Billionaire Enrique Razon Sues Cong. Kiko Barzaga at least P110 Million for Alleged Cyberlibel

– The Cavite 4th District Congressman vowed to personally say sorry to billionaire Enrique Razon who filed a cyberlibel complaint against him.

Barzaga hooked the spotlight amid the flood control mess for being vocal against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and the administration. Currently, he is under a suspension ruled by the House of Representatives.

It was last December when the House suspended Cong.

. His suspension is set to expire this February but there is reportedly a looming 2nd ethics complaint to be filed against him.

Previously, Barzaga called for Marcos Jr. to step down from his position. He even led a rally to call for the resignation of the President. He also previously claimed that he supposedly has an impeachment complaint against the President.

. The ports and casino magnate filed the cyberlibel case after Barzaga claimed that Razon allegedly bribed several congressmen for the retention of former House Speaker Martin Romualdez in the top position in the lower chamber.

Enrique Razon sues Cong. Kiko Barzaga for at least P110 million — P100 million in moral damages and P10 million in exemplary damages. According to the Billionaire’s camp, the Congressman’s claim damaged his reputation and caused him emotional distress.

“I was actually looking forward to seeing him in my father’s funeral, but he was not there, so I was wondering why, and then eventually that turned into a personal grudge against Razon because I was wondering why, he was so close to my father, or my father believed he was so close to him, but he didn’t even bother to show up,”
