Davao Cong. Paolo Duterte Issues Statement after Impeachment Case Filed vs. Pres. Bongbong Marcos

– The Davao Congressman slammed “Tambaloslos and Bangag Jr.” and warned them of the judgment of the people in 2028.
Recently, an
impeachment complaint was filed against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in the Office of the House
Secretary General. The Chief Executive is accused of alleged betrayal of public trust.
Former House Budget Appropriations Committee chairman
Zaldy Co accused Marcos Jr. and former House Speaker Martin Romualdez of corruption
. According to him, he has proof of the alleged deliveries of cash to the President and the then-Speaker. He also claimed that the President allegedly ordered a P100-billion budget insertion in the country’s fund for 2025.

Prior to the fling of an actual impeachment complaint, Malacañang claimed that Pres. Bongbong Marcos is ready to face any impeachment complaint that will be filed against him. Palace press officer undersecretary Claire Castro claimed that the President did not steal the people’s money.
According to Cong. Paolo Duterte, the “half-baked impeachment case” allegedly keep the real issues out of reach. He also asked why “Tambaloslos and Bangag Jr.” which are the oppositions’ reference to former House Speaker Martin Romualdez and Pres. Bongbong Marcos are allegedly “permanently untouchable”.
