Sen. Robin Padilla Reacts To Impeachment Talks against PBBM, VP Sara Duterte

– The Senator called for an end to the impeachment talks against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
While it was previously confirmed by a group that they are considering the filing of a fresh impeachment complaint against Vice Pres. Sara Duterte after the ban expires this February, an
impeachment complaint was recently filed against Pres. Bongbong Marcos
. The President is accused of alleged betrayal of public trust.
The impeachment complaint against Marcos Jr. was penned by lawyer Andrei de Jesus. It was endorsed by Deputy Minority Leader at Pusong Pinoy Party-list Rep. Jett Nisay. After its filing before the House Secretary General’s office, the Makabayan bloc also confirmed that they will file another impeachment complaint against the President.
In the impeachment complaint filed by de Jesus, Marcos Jr. is accused of alleged betrayal of public trust over the supposed surrender of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and his alleged involvement in the flood control corruption.
The alleged illegal drug use of Pres. Bongbong Marcos was also mentioned in the impeachment complaint filed against him before the House. The accusation was intensified when presidential sister and Senator Imee Marcos claimed that her brother is allegedly into illegal drug use since they were young.
