In a video statement, after
Marcos spent a night under medical observation
, he revealed that he has diverticulitis, which is a common condition among older people and those who are experiencing stress. He said,
“I’m fine. I’m feeling very different from the way I was feeling before. Naayos na ‘yung problema. What happened was, apparently, I now have diverticulitis.”
He is also overworked, and his doctors advised him to rest, to which the President responded,
“No. Well, yeah. Of course, lagi namang sinasabi ng doktor sa’kin ‘yun eh pero paano mo naman gagawin ‘yun. Ang daming trabaho.”
