The first impeachment rap filed against Marcos Jr. was endorsed by
Pusong Pinoy
Party-list Rep. Jett Nisay. It was filed at the Office of the Secretary General of the House of Representatives.
Pres. Bongbong Marcos is accused of alleged betrayal of public trust over the supposed surrender of former Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte to the International Criminal Court and his alleged involvement in the flood control corruption. The former President was arrested by the Philippine authorities and is detained under the ICC in The Hague, Netherlands for 10 months now.
Marcos Jr. previously claimed that the issue between the ICC and the former President was already existing when he became president. The Malacañang Palace also defended the President and the government saying that the PH authorities acted on the arrest in lieu of its commitment with the Interpol.

Rep. Renee Co claimed that the said complaint was allegedly not accepted by the House Secretary General.

, Co claimed that the complainants believe that it was allegedly a form of blocking the impeachment complaint against Marcos Jr. According to the House Member, they will do everything for the complaint to push through.
